Landlord Protection Plan

At Pares Building and Property Services our Gas Safe and Corgi registered engineers have produced the perfect landlord protection plan for your own peace of mind and the safety of your clients. This inspection is designed to ensure you do not fall foul of the relevant legislation whilst still making your property as safe as it can be:

• Gas Safety Checks
Inspection and test of the gas installation and appliances, i.e. gas boiler, cooker and gas fires. Identifies the presence of any gas leaks or poisonous carbon monoxide (CO).

• Gas Boiler Service
Neglected gas boilers can be a principle source of leaks and CO. Regular servicing not only protects your tenants but also extends life of the boiler and ensures economic running.

• Electrical Inspection
Visual and functional inspection of up to six domestic appliances and an earth loop test of 50% of the sockets within the property.

As part of our Landlord Protection Plan we will contact you two weeks in advance of test dates to ensure there is no break in your coverage andcomplete peace of mind for you.

On completion of the above safety checks, your Pares Building and Property Services engineer will accurately record the findings on the Landlord/Homeowner Gas Safety Record. This document is in three parts. One to be kept by you the landlord, one to be issued to the tenants and the third is to be kept by the gas operative. These records must be kept for two years.
