wiring installation or electrical equipment installation,
our electricians and engineers can do it professionally,
efficiently and safely.
As reputable, experienced, electrical installation contractors,
our projects range from maintenance and repair projects
to full, commercial and industrial electrical installation

The engineers and electricians who carry out all our electrical
equipment testing and electrical inspection and test are
qualified to the appropriate standards set by the NICEIC,
the major governing body for electrical installation contractors
in England and Wales.
We also provide information sheets on our services or
we can arrange for an engineer to visit. These will help
you to make a more informed decision about your electrical,
installation, maintenance, inspection and testing requirements.
As well as
a full portfolio of electrical services, we also specialise
in the following areas:
Part
P
Since 2005 People carrying out electrical work in homes
and gardens in England and Wales should follow the rules
set out in Part P of the Building Regulations to ensure
that they are complying with the law. These rules are
designed to ensure that electrical work is safe. Part
P was introduced in order to:
• Reduce the number of deaths, injuries and fires
caused by faulty electrical installations
• Make life harder for 'cowboys' to leave electrical
installations in an unsafe condition
A firm registered as part P certified can:
• Deal with all the new rules for you
• Is qualified to carry out electrical work to BS
7671, the national safety standard
• Will give you a certificate to confirm their work
follows the new rules
Further more using a part P electrician ensures that:
• You do not have to pay Building Control charges
• You have the option of taking out an insurance-backed
guarantee for the work
• You have access to a formal complaints procedure
if you are not happy with the work

Testing
Portable
Appliance Testing is essential for all businesses and
organisations and it’s vital that all your electrical
inspection testing is carried out by qualified, trained
professionals.
In addition, it’s important that your equipment
is tested and inspected at the correct, regular intervals.
At Pares BPS, we provide a cost-effective solution with
easy-to-read results and clearly labelled electrical equipment.
Insurance companies and the Health & Safety Executive
are now placing greater importance on businesses having
their fixed electrical installations tested on a regular
basis. This is because over 1,000 work place accidents
involving electric shock are reported to The Health &
Safety Executive each year, many of which are fatal! Most
of the reported accidents involve portable appliances
our fixed wire electrical safety testing can be tailored
to include a professionally drawn blueprint of all your
electrical circuits. In addition, we can also provide
voltage labeling, distribution board charts and outlet
identification.
Periodic
Electric Installation Report
Pares BPS will carry out in depth inspection
of electrical installation. We go on to produce a 6 page
report including recommendations and remedial work that
will be required.
Energy
Efficient Lighting
Energy
Efficient lighting is the perfect way to protect the environment
and save you vast amounts of money. If you are not taking
advantage of energy efficient lighting, you are unnecessarily
wasting both. Although the bulbs may at first glance seem
more expensive, we can calculate your likely savings and
advise you on the best way forward.
As part of the service, we will:
• Visit you to assess bulbs that could be replaced
or light fittings that can be converted to use less energy.
• Estimate the unnecessary energy your flourescent
lights are consuming after they have reached full brightness.
• Calculate your potential energy savings
• Help you to choose replacement bulbs or recommend
control equipment to save energy but keep the visual effect
you want.
Home
Information Packs
The H.I.P.S. pack consists of all the local and environmental
searches typically associated with homebuying, The main
mandatory part of H.I.P.S is the energy performance certificate
energy certificate. However, more and more solicitors
are requesting N.I.C.E.I.C and Corgi registered engineers
to test properties electrical wiring and circuitry and
also provide plumbing and heating survey certificates
and gas safety inspections. As current registered members
of both, Pares BPS are able to provide our clients with
all these necessary requirements to a high level of competence.

inspection & testing more important than with emergency
lighting. You need to know it’s in perfect working
order.

emergency lighting meets the BS5266 and BS7671 requirements,
or whether it needs improving to ensure it complies with
current legislation. As well as providing the appropriate
