appliances have a two or three year manufacturer’s warranty, of which a
service carried out by a Gas Safe and Corgi registered engineer is
mandatory to validate the second and third year of the guarantee.
A boiler service includes:
• Visual examination of the appliance and its flue to confirm
that it is suitably located and installed
in accordance with the necessary regulations.
• Examination and if necessary cleaning of the combustion chamber, fan,
heat exchanger burner etc. If necessary
we will also inspect efficiency of heat exchanger.
• Examination and testing of appliance, flue, safety devices, controls
and components.
• Checking and adjusting burner pressure and gas rates.
• Confirming that the appliance is capable of safe operation.
In short the main aim of a boiler service is to improve the efficiency
of your existing boiler which more often than not will result in a
