H.I.P.S.
If you plan to sell or let your home, new laws require you to have a Home Information Packet (HIP) available for prospective buyers and tenants. This will include a Predicted Energy Assessment (PEA) or Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) and for new homes, information about sustainability.
Increasingly, solicitors are requesting that testing of electrical wiring, as well as plumbing and heating, be carried out by N.I.C.E.I.C and Gas Safe and Corgi registered engineers. As current registered members of both, Pares Building and Property Services are able to provide our clients with all these necessary requirements to a high level of competence.
The friendly experts at Peres Building and Property Services will make putting together a HIP for your home easy by carrying out all necessary inspections and providing you with the resulting data for inclusion in the packet.
We will also inform you of any repairs needed to bring your home into compliance with regulations, and offer tips on changes or upgrades that would make your home more energy-efficient, and therefore more appealing to buyers.
